Principal's Message

Greetings!

I am excited for the 2025 - 26 school year! This is my 8th year as the Principal at Portland MS. We have been through a lot together over the last 9 years that I have been here, and I am looking forward to continuing to build relationships with our middle school community and bringing Raider Pride to our school.

A little bit about me - I was born and raised in Portland. I graduated from Portland High School in 2007 and went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from the University of Michigan. I then earned my Master's of Public Administration with a specialization in Educational Administration from the University of Michigan in 2015. My husband and I have two young children who keep us very busy and entertained! My children also attend Portland Public Schools. I have had the privilege of working in the Portland School District as a teacher and administrator. 

My goal as the Principal of Portland Middle School is to continue to build the strong, positive culture that is currently in place. We will work to improve our curriculum and settings for our students daily as well. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to continuing to build a strong foundation for the students, parents, and staff of Portland Middle School.
